Up and over four incredible 12,000'+ mountain passes around the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness. People do this as a 4-day backpack... and it's a common 1-day run!
This trail traverses between the Front Range of Colorado and the ski resort of Winter Park. If you catch good weather, you can see both sides of the Continental Divide and stunning views that go for miles.
Join us as we hike 17 miles from Eldorado into Boulder.

Join us Northwest of Boulder, This gorgeous scenery ends at a breathtaking cirque and glacier lake!
This is an easily accessed world class 27 mile loop, leading through some absolutely stunning terrain. The closest comparison to this route is the four pass loop around Maroon Bells. I do not think this quite matches that level of scenic beauty, but it comes pretty close and is much easier to access for most of the state to give it an extra star.
To anyone looking for a solitary 3 or 4 days, this loop connects four trails in the remote Weminuche Wilderness of the San Juan Mountains. A gain of over 4,500 feet makes it a real undertaking, but the rewards more than outweigh the challenges: it sees a handful of high alpine lakes along the way, and you'll more than likely encounter wildlife. It's also an access point to a number of side trips, such as the Trinity Lake Route. It's a beautiful introduction to the rugged Needle Mountains.

This is a must do run! You'll be propelled to get to the next mile by the beauty the canyon possess. The unique aspect of crossing the Grand Canyon is that you first descend 9 miles, then run across the floor for 7 miles, before hitting the steepest part of the North Kaibab Trail where you'll climb 7 miles up a 15% - 20% grade. Pacing yourself is the key to finishing R2R2R.
